Hyde Park Picture House - Creatures of The Night Commissions

Through the Responsive module and winning a competition held by Hyde Park Picture House, documented earlier in this blog - I've struck up a relationship with Hyde Park and been commissioned to produce a number of posters for screenings from October onwards, this is has been really enjoyable and has opened up a lot of doors for me, especially when it comes to producing limited edition prints for sale in a limited quantity.



Here are the posters done so far, I feel I'd document this as I feel being the designer relied upon to produce the majority of posters for independent screenings in probably the most popular independent cinema in Leeds is a great personal achievement for me and one of the high-points of the year moving forward.



I've really enjoyed them because they're a break from my style and it allows me to produce a quick-turn around brief without worrying about product range, distribution, or anything like that, it's simply expressing myself through design and trying to capture the movie and the plot.
